Steakhouse Shalom — Restaurant in Zandvoort

They tried to clearly cheat and it was a really bad experience. I will recommend to be careful if you decide to eat there. Situation objectively. We ordered 2 dishes. One of it was no 51 on the menu. On seeing bill, they had added 52 which was higher priced instead of 51 plus some additional charge. On asking first they said the price of dish is higher than whats written on menu. When we said it's too high, he said we ordered 52. On telling him we had ordered 51, he showed his notepad where we could see 1 was overwritten with 2. Thats when we realized its not a human error but an attempt to cheat.

Overall bad experience. We dont mind couple of additional bucks in case of human error. But blatant cheating...

In fairness, me and a friend barged in for food and drink on Sunday night, when most of places in town were closed (or looked so), and we were not disappointed indeed! The loveliest and friendliest host (sorry I forgot the name), nice food (well, it's not fine dining, it's filling and satisfying, and sauces & dips are looovely). Ate here Monday the burger, chips.and salad were amazing the salad was fresh, the burgers were tasty. Ate the whole lot and if you know me I'm VERY picky. After celebrations we went to grab a pizza each at 250am and he made them fresh had a coffee while I waited. When we left he said "see ya tomorrow" made us laugh. Then drove back to haarlem.with them tasted amazing and the Tabasco. Definitely...
