I recently had the opportunity to dine at the restaurant located within the wonderful countryside resort. While I was excited to indulge in a delicious meal, unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. It is with regret that I must share my dissatisfaction with the quality of the food and the overall dining experience.

From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was captivated by the charming ambiance that the resort is renowned for. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned as I sampled the dishes on the menu. The food simply did not meet the standards one would expect from a resort of this caliber. It is evident that the attention to detail and the dedication to culinary excellence were lacking.

The flavors of the dishes were disappointingly bland and lacked the complexity that one would anticipate from a reputable restaurant. Each dish I sampled appeared to be hastily prepared, and it was evident that the quality of the ingredients used was subpar. The presentation of the food also left much to be desired, lacking the finesse and artistry that often accompany dishes at such establishments.

Moreover, the service I received did not match the level of service I have come to associate with this resort. The staff seemed disengaged and uninterested in providing a memorable dining experience. My inquiries about the menu were met with vague responses, and it was clear that the staff lacked a deep understanding of the dishes they were serving.

It is especially disheartening that the restaurant's offerings fall short of the resort's overall reputation. Given the exceptional surroundings and the reputation of the resort, I expected the restaurant to uphold the same level of excellence. Unfortunately, my visit left me questioning whether the restaurant truly aligns with the resort's high standards.

In conclusion, my dining experience at the restaurant was far from the delightful culinary journey I had anticipated. Nonna’s at Center Parcs De Eemhof is the kind of place that looks promising—until you open the menu and start doing mental gymnastics over the prices. €40 for a basic steak and fries? That’s not just expensive, that’s borderline comedy. If the steak is as "good" as the pizza, prepare for disappointment.

Speaking of pizza—just get that. It’s simple, probably pre-prepped, and flies out of the kitchen at lightning speed, which is perfect if you have a toddler with the patience of a fruit fly. You’ll be in and out before they manage to overturn a chair or start an impromptu food fight.

Service? Let’s just say they show up, take your order, and deliver your food. No frills, no enthusiasm—just... service.

Warning: Do not bring hungry kids to this restaurant!!! if you order a kids menu, they won’t tell the kitchen to start cooking your main dish till you actually finish your starter (but they don’t check when you finish your starter either ), so expect at least 40 mins waiting between after your starter is done and your main dish. Terrible rule! The waiting time of your dishes is way longer than your eating time. We had to wait for so long for the main dish, in between of waiting, all other tables arrived much later than us have already got their dishes served. We were simply sitting there with dirty plates of starters and 40 mins of waiting, terrible terrible dinning experience.
