3RD VISIT Had the Chimichurri Burger. The bun was stale and crumbly, the beef patty was also on the drier side.

2ND VISIT Both the beef and chicken burger were very dry and tough.

OPENING WEEK Pretty decent burger. From a chain/franchise perspective, I'd say it sits somewhere between The Butcher and Five Guys. The burger patty sits somewhere between a smash burger and a "gourmet" burger as well. It has a somewhat smashed feel, but less caramelized and also much thicker than a smashed burger. Not as juicy as a gourmet burger though. The meat was cooked to well done.

€8,25 for a burger is decent value. Quality wise, a step up from the big fastfood chains.

The shakes are rubbish though. Watery and bland. It's missing the thick lactic richness a proper shake should have.

The manager dropped by for my opinion. Had a pleasant chat. Good to see the restaurant takes ...

I visited Burger and Shake in Zoetermeer and tried a bit of everything – the bacon & cheese loaded fries, the Hotdog n Spicy, the Burger with chimichurri, and the chicken strips – and honestly, every single bite was AMAZING. The fries were perfectly fresh, crispy, and loaded just right, the hotdog had the perfect spicy kick, the burger patty was juicy and flavorful with that incredible chimichurri, and the chicken strips were golden and tender.

What really stood out is that everything is made fresh right in front of you – you can taste the quality in every bite. Nothing feels frozen or pre-made, just real, fresh ingredients cooked with care.

This place left me truly speechless – one of those meals where you just sit back and say wow. If you’re in Zoetermeer and want something next-level, you NEED to check...

We tried the (old school) burgers, added cheese only. They are ok, nothing outstanding and more lattice than meat. The price is actually much for what you get. You have to pay for everything separately even for the ketchup/mayo (I think 1 euro for little ketchup or mayo!) as it does not come with the fries.

Hygiene needs some attention, wearing gloves in the kitchen doesn’t mean it is clean when the guys touch everything with their gloves including scratching one’s face.

We tried it once, but next time returning to Five Guys for better value for money and better food. Ordering...
