Second visit — mixed experience.
This was my second time dining here. I had a great first experience, so I brought along two friends who also enjoy Thai cuisine. Unfortunately, the consistency of the food was disappointing this time.
The beef in the Thai beef salad was quite tough and dry, which made it difficult to enjoy. The jungle curry was surprisingly watery — quite different from my first visit, where the curry sauce was rich and thick. That said, the flavour was still pleasant. We all enjoyed the stir-fried noodles — well-seasoned and nicely cooked.

Read moreFlew home from HK earlier this week and someone highly recommended Thai Heart—so tonight I went with two of my kids. The aromas hit us before we even walked in, and the food was incredible. Light, crispy curry puffs, tender satay chicken with amazing sauce, and the most authentic Pad Thai I’ve had outside Thailand. Sam recommended the Penang Curry—absolutely bursting with flavour—and the coconut rice was perfect. Sam himself is charming, hilarious (according to my kids- ok I found him funny too), and incredibly generous. He even gave us a complimentary treat and fed a homeless man who came by. Seems very popular for getting takeaways, not so much dining in; although if you do decide to dine in, the presentation of the premise's aesthetic is thematically there as a Thai establishment.
Food is okay, very small portions to the cost ratio, tastes okay though - not outstanding, and it's understandable if the main clientele is for takeaways.
The owners of the business seem to be delightful, cheerful people.
