My stay at the Off-Grid Vineyard Cabin at Paroa Bay was simply delightful. The cabin's design instantly made me feel at home, creating a cozy atmosphere that was both welcoming and charming. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that every detail had been carefully considered to ensure a comfortable stay.

I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful provisions provided, including house-made granola, bread, seasonal fruits, and spreads, not to mention the welcome bottle of Paroa Bay Wine. It was clear that the hosts had gone above and beyond to make sure guests lacked for nothing.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the stunning view from the cabin. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and enjoying my morning coffee while taking in the scenery was a true pleasure.

One of the most memorable moments of my stay was hearing the calls of kiwis at night—a rare experience. In the morning, we were able to spot birds unique to New Zealand, adding to the charm of the natural surroundings.

Exploring the vineyard in the golf cart provided added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. It was a unique way to see the property and added to the overall charm of the stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the off-grid vineyard cabin. A serious bargain.. stunning view of the vineyard and we loved how intimate the feel was in the cabin with the wood fireplace and even went out into the hot tub to see the stars at night. The fact that it also included a golf cart and a welcome bottle of wine was the icing on the cake. There was a bbq but we really took advantage of Sage restaurant being so close.. delicious dinners every night and then we just strolled back to our cozy cabin. Tons to do in the day along with the beach access they give you. Took my rod and caught and released a couple snapper just off the beach. Fantastic time and will 100% recommend to any couple. It's hard not to feel immediately enchanted the minute you drive in to Paroa Bay Winery , it's literally like leaving the hustle and bustle of life behind you and entering such calmness . The tranquility of the surrounding hills and scenery is like a living art, I can't help compare it to France. It was almost magical. It didn't disappoint too, the Winery has vast array of bottles from award winning Sauvignon Blanc to Chardonnay, Malbec and merlot. My personal favourite is the Sauvignon 2015 which left a hint fruity melon taste , quite delightful . Such beauty of the Winery makes a whole package for a perfect retreat .
