Crazy Tandoor Waihi beach — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Very bad....took aged to get served, got given wrong meal and No rice, waiter new it was the wrong meal and even admitted that when I told him but still gave it to me without saying a word, No cutlery was replaced so I ate my meal with a spoon. Only offered me free rice as compensation which was highly offensive after standing there listening to two of them talk about me in their language, which I asked can you speak English please...I'm right here!!! Food was nice, just don't recommend them for service, and put prices on drinks so people know how much...

Lots of sauce, very little meat. Poor service. Confused teenagers running the front desk. Overall below average experience and low value for money.

To clarify further after your reply. Last week we had; large Crazy Kebab Curry, large Malabari (prawns), regular Butter Chicken and Regular Naan. Today I thought I would visit again and ask you to address the lack of meat and too much sauce, but the front desk girl was rude and confused. As such I decided not to proceed with my order. An Autumn Thursday evening and having read the good reviews, decided to give Crazy Tandoor a go. We weren’t disappointed, we ordered Prawn Saag, Indian medium for spice, a bowl of Kechumber and a plain Naan. The wait wasn’t too bad, about 20 minutes but worth the wait, the meal was spot on, great flavour and very succulent Prawns. The service was vey good, very polite and attentive but not overly so.
