Q Cafe — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Stumbled upon this cafe one afternoon, it looked inviting from outside bathed in sun, with parking outfront and a lovely waterfall. When I entered the cafe I was suprised to see how big and spacious it was with a range of seating for groups, couples, open area seating, cosy quiet seating spaces, outdoor seating all sunny, light and airy. When I went up to the counter I noticed small sweet scrolls for $3 that looked great for a little treat with your cup of tea, lovely rosemary sausage rolls, selection of panini and other savory and sweet foods. Order a tea and sausage roll and it came out in quick time and nice and hot. There was also more substantial food available. A handy water fountain in the corner too. The staff were friendly welcoming. The bathrooms are mobility friendly and I noticed a boardroom down the corridor which I thought might be a handy meeting room. Great new local Papamoa coffee shop in the Q building, right off the roundabout! Great location in this fast-growing new neighborhood. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because their hours are limited, but I’m sure they’re just testing business viability in this up-and-coming area. It’s really the only place around for a morning or early afternoon caffeine fix, so I can only see the place growing in popularity as more people fill the neighborhood and hear about it!
