I had the pleasure of meeting Billy Emeny, the owner of Village Green Bar & Kitchen, along with his wife while having lunch. From our conversation, it was evident that their goal was to create a welcoming space that would cater to a diverse clientele, spanning all age groups, including families with kids and those who are fond of four-legged companions. Their vision was clear: to provide a cozy and informal setting where anyone could relax, enjoy a refreshing beverage, savor a delectable burger with crisp, golden fries, or indulge in a mouthwatering pizza.
Village Green Bar & Kitchen boasts ample seating both indoors and outdoors, offering patrons the choice of a comfortable spot to suit their preference. The ambiance of the establishment truly embodies the essence of a warm and inviting home away from home. Visiting during sunset is an awe-inspiring experience that you won't want to miss.
Additionally, they have thoughtfully ensured that parking is never a concern, as there is plenty of space available for the convenience of their guests. However, it's wise to plan ahead and make a reservation if you're planning to visit for dinner, as the popularity of the place can result in it being quite busy.
Village Green Bar & Kitchen is an absolute gem, not only for its delicious food and drinks but also for the sense of community it fosters. It's a place where you can unwind, create beautiful memories, and revel in the simple joys of life. Billy and his wife have truly succeeded in bringing their vision to fruition, and I can't recommend this...
Read moreThe tacos were tasty, but my Greek salad was underwhelming and definitely not value for money. With no more than a tablespoon of feta, no olives, three small pieces of tomato and two small pieces of red capsicum (I'm not sure where that comes into a Greek salad), along with a few tiny slithers of red onion, on big bowl of mixed lettuce (no cos as per the menu), it was dismal. These ingredients would have cost little more than $2 and with a price of $22, it didn't cut it.
When the waiter asked how our meals were I did tell him, but he just recommended ordering something different next time.
I left feeling as hungry as when I arrived and had lunch elsewhere.
Yes, they've just opened, but I don't think that's an excuse. You have to get it right from the start. It seems both the kitchen and wait staff need...
Read moreWe a group of 8 asked to pre order for specific table timed service which was kindly accommodated and delivered on time. This was exceptional. However the steaks were extra thin, an order for a drink was 25 mins in waiting while custom srevice demand was more than minimal and staff took time to converse together. When the order was re-requested and queried and time to deliver was questioned the staff member argued with the customer about the time delay and their service. An order for desert was not relayed to the chef and when finally asked about an apology given but the desert was no longer available and a substitute provided. Which we add was delicious. All in all we suggest further staff training and attention to quality of meals. Given with improved...
