KFC Rolleston — Restaurant in Canterbury

This evening was the 2nd outing to Kentucky Fried Chicken Rolleston we have had. In our initial encounter we stood inside for a total of 20 minutes with no queue in front of us and absolutely no attention from staff; we resorted to attempting the drive thru, alas, this was not much better and we sat albeit in the comfort of our own vehicle for a further 25 minutes. Eventually, to our joy, our food was handed to us: however we discovered items that we had paid for were missing. Due to the extreme time wasted earlier we accepted our loss and hungrily continued our voyage.

Despite our unpleasant experience we thought that we all have bad days and to give the Kentucky Fried Chicken at Rolleston another chance. This time it was a Wednesday and despite the hope of less queueing we were once again stuck behind a horrific lowered Ute. At least we had learnt from previous experience not to enter the building to be ignored for 1/72 of our total day. We were sat, rubbing our bellies amongst the other starving citizens of Rolleston desperate for some sweet chicken. We are still sat in said queue after reading several reviews and having the half hour to write this one, we have come to the conclusion that KFC rolleston clearly do not need our hard earned money and thus we will be heading to MacDonald's for our next fast food fix. In the meantime please wish ourselves and the fellow brave individuals who regretfully have opted to endeavour the kfc Rolleston queue: who knows when it will finally end. Sincerely, a concerned...

It would seam this restaurant is still struggling with the basics. A few months ago I spoke with the new manager and raised some concerns with her. She was great to talk to and seamed to take some of the points I raised on board and I thought things might change and on 2 of the visits after that I was impressed nothing wrong with our orders "even the fries had seasoning on them" without having to go back and ask 👍 But this sadly was short lived. In the last 3 weeks I have been back to this store 4 times most of the time with my family of 5 children and wife. The orders have been wrong each time NO seasoning on the fries and even though we went there when there was hardly any one in the store it took a long time to get our orders. The young person on the checkout was disengaged and hardly made eye contact. The tables were dirty. We had to clear and ask for a cloth to wipe our table which I don't mind. But then the staff member who had just served us came and sat down and and had his meal break at one of the un cleared tables. I am passionate about KFC and I really want this store to lift its game. I worked at KFC over 20 years ago and the expectations were so high and it's really sad to see how the basic standards have dropped so much. I made a review under (Jessie J) a few months ago. On the 6th september at 9.13pm my partner ordered tea at KFC Rolleston as we live rural and involving roadworks happening on the selwyn bridge at the moment it took an hour or so before we got to eat, when that time come we noticed the chicken discolored like it hadnt been cooked for long enough, when it come to ringing up the branch we got told there was nothing able to be done as it had been over an hour.. my partner then made the long trip back taking our meal back with him, when he got there it was 11.01pm just on closing time,the manager that was on at the time proceeded to not resolve this matter and pulled the finger at my partner through the window. My partner then left and we tried again today 7th september we are still being refused a refund,the manager proceeded to raise his voice at me and is denying the finger pulling incident i there for asked to see the camera footage as to which was denied, i then asked to speak to his manager, that was also denied saying she was on leave and there was noone covering her position. We are left $52 out of pocket with a meal we cannot consume,This behaviour is not only disgusting its a big health and safety risk i have not long given birth and the last thing i want to end up with is food poisoning, i have photo evidence of the uncooked chicken that has now gone to the health department and...
