We live in Rolleston but have never tried as they close at 2:30pm and weekend. But wet and cold school holiday, we had to try there! It was around 1pm so little bit too late for try everything but I tried the steak and mushroom pie. Best pies ever, beats Sheffield pies nowadays and fairlie pies, I used to do tours around south island, so have tried everywhere many times. I had a steak and cheese pie, there were pieces of carrot in between the jam packed meat pie, just rounds it off nicely.
