Have been to this Armidillos a few times some experiences have been good (over 3 months ago) but recently it has gone downhill. Last night my family came here for dinner, I had made a booking as I have a small baby so wanted to make sure we got in early to leave early also. Upon arrival there were no other customers in the restaurant seating area (5:40pm), we knew what we were ordering food wise before coming to be prepared. Shortly after we were seated a few other people arrived. A table who arrived after us, had received their food first (entree and MAINS) - My partner asked the lady behind the bar how far away our food was as the other table had theirs before us, her response "It'll come out when it's done." - not friendly service at all from her. We had been seated for 1 hour when our food had finally come out. Only to be served cold, 3 of us had steak meals - steaks were cold and chips were undercooked and cold. Mushroom sauce had barely any mushrooms in it. The 2 "chefs" who were own were 2 very young boys, I'd be surprised if either of them are over 20, definitely need someone with more experience on to help run the kitchen with them.
Very disappointing dining...
Read moreLast evening Sunday 15th March 2015 I and three others went to Robbies Belfast for a meal. I ordered a roast which was shown on the menu board as a beef roast with peas, carrots and corn cob. It was disgusting!!!!!. The meat was acceptable with 2 roast potatoes. The vegetables were a few peas, a few carrots and 1 very small dried up top end of a corn cob which was so dry it was inedible.Hardly a roast meal!!!!! and at $18.90 it was very poor value. Upon complaining when leaving. a woman in the kitchen yelled out that the boss wont let me buy other vegetables because they are too dear. May I suggest you walk across the road to Harringtons and they will show you what a roast meal is.!!! WE WILL NOT BE BACK AND WOULD SUGGEST TO ANYONE ELSE COMTEMPLATING GOING TO ROBBIES BELFAST, DONT....
Read moreOutstanding customer service. Very friendly staff. Mouth watering food. we had garlic bread and chicken tenders as our starter. The crumbs on the chicken tenders was so yummy and crispy, The garlic bread had just the right amount of garlic butter and it wasn't overpowering. For the main course we had a Nz Angus beef burger and a signature dish grilled chicken burger that came with a basket of fries and t-sauce. We also shared the dessert because we aren't big dessert lovers. It was a chocolate sundae that came with two chocolate wafers vanilla ice cream and whipped cream in a massive tall glass. I will absolutely be going back I would highly...
