It seems this fish & chip shop has negative reviews removed & I find that extremely dishonest and not fair when you are being honest about your experience eating from this business. I also have the photos to prove it. I'll say this again. I bought fish and chips from this fish and chip shop on Friday. We were the only customers there at the time which speaks volumes. The greasiest, unappealing fish chips I have ever had. Fish was thin over cooked and dripping with grease, same with the chips. Hot dog was not a saveloy but an over-processed orange thing. I asked for a meat patty, he repeated back to me on the phone, and it was again repeated to him in person as they don't give order numbers but instead got a potato cheese and bacon pattie "I think" that tasted funky and had absorbed so much oil. Too bad if you don't eat pork. Even if you did you wouldn't want to eat it. We had to throw the whole lot out as they not only tasted bad we would have been so sick had we eaten them. Very disappointing - ordered 1 fish, 1 curry roll, 1 potato fritter & 1/2 scoop chips - was keen to just try a bit of a few things as I had heard such good things about this place. So very disappointed - my fish was mostly batter with very little fish in it, ditto the potato fritter, however it was also very 'floury'. Worst fish and chips I have ever had in my life. And with it been dead at 5.30pm on a Friday says it all. Chips were greasy and disgusting, small scoop but don't care because won't be eating them.
