We opted to order with the app as directed by signage on each table.
The menu on the app didn't match their printed menu. Some options on the app menu weren't available. Explanation given by owner: "we used to have that wine"... Would have thought an online menu would be easier to keep up to date. Staff were going to serve a lower cost wine option as an alternative without consulting us and only when we enquired was a refund of the difference.
Beverages (wine and beer) took 20-30 mins to serve.
Food took between40-50 mins to serve. We ordered a bowl of fries, children's meal (chicken tenders) and a basic pizza. Really no excuse for such a poor turnaround time.
When following up on our food with staff they enquired whether we made the order through the app/website, when we confirmed this they gave the impression they have repeated issues with app/online orders.
Why offer a service if it's going to make your business look bad?
The food was nice enough, but overpriced.
We won't be back, I'm sure their core business of serving a pie and a pint to people after a session at the adventure park is much more suited to them than servicing the wider cafe market there's better...

   Read moreI have been to this cafe many of times usually in the summer, and have received great service. Today I was very disappointed in the service I received. I was served by a young girl who I wonât name at around 11:35AM, I asked for a regular hot chocolate and she rudely responded to me âwe donât do regular hot chocolates, we only do them in large, but if you want it in a regular cup you will have to pay the price of a largeâ it was the tone of voice she used that made her come across so rude, she had an abrupt tone that implied she thought I should know this already. Her and her co workers spent more time talking than serving and preparing our order. Not only that but they forgot about the people were were withs order, they had left it in the microwave, as they were to busy talking amongst themselves. Plus the music was so loud we couldnât hear each other when talking. After this experience I will be reluctant to return...
