Cosy Cafe — Restaurant in Christchurch

This is a lovely wee place that serves your standard cafe food. Nothing fancy or over the top but very well done. The eggs bennie was superb, eggs perfectly runny and a good quantity of delicious bacon (ordered with a side of delightful crispy hashbrowns). The flat white was a perfect flavoured shot and served hot. The staff were also friendly and efficient.

I came during early morning as the cafe opens at 7 am, it was a quiet spot where I could enjoy my own company.

Wheelchair accessible although the tables can be a tight squeeze to get past in one.

Plus an outdoor area perfect for those hot summer days.

Free parking lot available but be mindful to park in areas...

Bad experience at cosy cafe container mall! Bad service! My husband is buying coffe from them, and my daughters bought minidonuts from other shop, as you guys don’t sell them. We decided to sit their outside tables (there were plenty seats empty), the cosy cafe shopper came and asked us to leave, we said we are your customer, we purchased your coffe, she said but your other food aren’t from us! Today a cold grey Sunday we decided to visit this cafe again to review it. Haven't been here for almost a year. I had a feta and spinach filo pastry and a flat white. Very average. I thought was expensive for what it was...cafe very busy reflected in a staff member's face, definitely not welcoming or chatty. Too noisy for me so didn't stay as long as we normally would.
