Curry Time Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Christchurch

I ordered curry on Door Dash tonight . Delivery time 15mins. 45mins later the curry arrived without Rice!!!! I rang to ask where the rice was only to be told I didn't order rice!!!!! I have been eating there for over 16 years and curry always comes with rice!! When I tried to question this i was told its under new management and rice no longer comes with curry. I have never heard of any other curry take aways that do this. The customer service was severely lacking and on checking the Menu there is no mention of rice being sold separately infact in the lunch menu it clearly states curry and Rice!!!! $25.30 for just curry !!!! This was my first experience at Curry Time Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We ordered 3 separate curry meals and were able to share as the meals were served in separate bowls. Very Yummy food at affordable prices. The staff were very hospitable and welcoming. The nice lady was concerned for me & she came over to our table to ask if my meal was too hot for me, I thought this was very kind of her to do so. I always go here to satisfy my curry craving taste buds, but unfortunately I most likely wont again. I had a takeaway order via Uber Eats on Saturday night and when I got home I opened it and put it on my plate as you do. The curry was mainly just sauce..... it had five bits of chicken! One okay size and the rest tiny stir fry type size. I felt left out of pocket as takeaways are not cheap and I would only expect this sort of thing from the Indian places in the malls. The only thing stopping me from giving this a one star rating is the Naan and Onion Bhajis...
