Placed an online order approximately 7.10pm, order online said there was an error and to contact the store to confirm the order had gone through. Money had been taken out of my account. Soni answered the phone, I explained what had happened and he said I could reorder and I should get a refund from the online order which I said was fine. I went to reorder with Soni, but apparently I couldn’t order the same as what I had ordered online, the online error wasn’t my fault why can’t I order the same. I then said can’t it be over ride to make it happen as since online isn’t working which he said it can’t be. I asked another question to then ended in Soni hanging up on me on the phone. I rang back and soni answered, I said you hung up on me and he said yes because I was arguing… obviously I was frustrated with the whole ordeal but I didn’t loose my cool like he suggested I did so I said go back and re hear the recording of our conversation and he’ll hear I was calm. I asked for his manager details which he said call the same number and ask for Ricky being rude in the process. I rung the halswell store they said my order never went through, the indian guy kept talking over me and picked up the phone without even a hello. Picked up the phone an continued to talk to others. Told me there was no order under my name I asked if I can just make an order with him now, and he said no just make it online. So I went o line and made an order and guess what an Indian girl showed up with my pizza, i told he till pay for this one but ro cancel my previous order she said she'll make sure the order is cancel and guaranteed me before leaving the order was cancelled. 20mins later a guy shows up with my pizza. I felt horrible and explained the situation to him he was very understanding. The young white guy apologized to me and said he will take the order back. Before I get called racist I'm indian myself!!!! I couldnt remember their names! And is it possible to hire people that ACTUALLY understand what is expected of them and what customer service is? Will not be ordering from them ever again. Read moreI have probably had Pizza hundreds of times but I've never had such good service as I had tonight at Domino's Halswell. Never have I been sold on any chain pizza shop into being a loyal customer by just my first experience there. Tonight, they gave service most definitely worth the prices. They had made a mistake and put the wrong sauce on one of my pizzas. Like us all, they're only human but better than most of us, they owned it and they remade it. In all honesty, I wouldn't have noticed, but I certainly noticed them giving me the pizza extra to make up for the delay. They provided customer service that all businesses (Especially Pizza Hut) should admire and desire to demonstrate.
My pizzas were absolutely covered with toppings which helps me justify the price increases and makes them well worth the money.
Given the week I've had, they were better than if I'd won the lotto. Thank you all there at Dominos Halswell once again! I will see you again in a couple weeks, you've blown a Pizzaholic away with your service and earned my...
