Really terrible service. There was some kind of system issue that meant there were no orders going from the kiosks to the kitchen. They had a man in there repairing them, but there was no communication from staff that the kiosks weren't working.
I watched 10 people who ordered after me receive their food before a staff member saw someone ordering from the kiosk, explained that they weren't working, and then printed off his order to physically take to the kitchen. I then had to wait a further 5-10 minutes to get a staff member's attention, and then another 5 minutes while the system was rebooted just to have them print my order to finally take to the kitchen.
I also had to explain to 4 other people (since no staff member was communicating with us) that they would need to approach the counter to have their orders made up.
Staff were flat out ignoring customers, avoiding all eye contact, and making no effort to stop more people from ordering from the faulty kiosks. I understand that it was incredibly busy, and I'm sure extremely stressful, but a simple note taped to the kiosks would have prevented all of this.
In the end I waited 45 minutes for my food, and had to spend longer waiting to actually speak to someone to ask for a free drink for some kind of recompense for the ordeal.
Truly the worst experience I have ever had with KFC. Some customer service training is...
Read moreWorse experience I've ever had, rudest manager I've ever come across. A certain item was forgotten, when I got home I rung store and was told to give my name and number and that id be credited. Later sent my mother down to redeem the credit, reciept and all. She was rudely spoken to, told that the manager himself had put the item in the bag and that he never recieved a call, and was the only one who could answer the phone!! I then called again, he admitted to speaking to me then told me he himself put the item in the bag. (which he never said in our first phone call) through out the heated phone call he condridicted himself and said he never recieved a phone call. He made me feel as though I was trying to get free items, then completly lied over and over saying he never spoke to me. At this point I don't care about the forgotten item (even though its such an inconvenience to pay for a meal and get home and its not there), it's more the fact that I've been told basicly that I'm lying and trying to get free food. Its absolutely disgusting that a manager would make a paying customer feel as though they're completely in the wrong and out right lie to them. I'm disgusted in this behaviour, I really don't understand how people like...

We went to get dinner on 25th Dec ... the line for the drive through was down the road and around the corner but I saw people coming out of the restaurant so I parked and went in to order with the other people. I waited ages as there was an issue with the reciept paper in the till and an older man in front of me insisted he needed a receipt for his 2x large fries and 4x pieces of chicken!!! 20 mins later the manager is starting to have a meltdown as the customer refuses an email receipt or a written receipt. More and more people were coming in and the restaurant was already half full. No food was served in the time I waited. As soon as the older gentleman finally received his printed paper receipt the managed came over to me and told me to leave by forcible pushing me out the door!!!! I questioned why he wasn't telling anyone else to leave then he started waving at the rest of the crowd to leave. I understand that customer service can be brutal but he shouldn't have allowed anyone in if he was that stressed!! He should have told the difficult customer what he said to me and all the other people who were waiting. As well as all the people coming in. My daughter and I went home and made bbq...
