Muffin Break Eastgate — Restaurant in Christchurch

Coffee is always amazing. Though because I ordered coconut milk with Mt mocha they made 5 other people's coffees before mine. Took 15 mins to get a coffee because of this. When they are normally pretty fast. The coffee still tasted amazing. This review was redone... because not only from this. But for their $5.30 lollycake. I'll attach photo. It was the smallest piece I have ever had from a Cafe. And I only get lollycake from cafes. This however made me want to not come here for it in the future. Which removes my need...

Used to love this place and purchased coffee almost daily but today I went and thr girl just stood there staring and didnt serve us for a while. She had a cleaning cloth in her hands and proceeded to drop it and handle our food. The coffee tasted terrible and was too hot. Asked for muffin to be heated with butter...it wasnt heated when given to us, no butter or knife included. Then I watched her scraping dry coffee grounds off the bench into a container with a spoon and put it aside. I hate to think... won't...

I wasn't impressed yesterday when a young lady over filled coffee cup and then pushed the lid on coursing coffee to make a mess everywhere, she then proceeded to wipe the lid/cup with her dish cloth she had just wiped bench with. I told her that I hoped she wasn't expecting me to drink that, she knew straight away what she had done and changed the lid. No excuse, let's hope her boss stops her doing that. She's lost this customer, I'll never go back. Even the price shocked me, $5.70 for...
