Was a bit worried from prior reviews, so I asked when I walked in. New manager explained past issues were front of house staff related and was quick to help me order the good food. I ordered fish madras. He confirmed the fish was fresh and it was. I ordeeed a garlic cheese naan and it was one of the best I've had in NZ. The rice was A generous portion, fluffy and hot. The place is nice and clean for a place geared to takeaway. I ate in and the dish and water glass were super clean. I'll come back and think it's time to give these guys another chance. Oh - the curry/medium hot was flavorful but not overpowering and really tasty. It's authentic and the kitchen poked their head out to make sure I was enjoying it. Well done...

Ordered on uber around 3am and got charged from my bank account. I paid for priority service so I can get the food earlier. Was waiting for the food for an hour before they start preparing it. I called 2 times about any update. They said they just got the order around 4am and the food is ready. They said they were waiting for the driver to pick up but it's not showing on my apps that there is a driver picking up the food. I was asking to cancel my order but they said they can't do that. This is the most underrated Indian in Christchurch. You're missing out if you're not coming here for your curry. Hands down the best curry I've ever had! The man was so friendly and threw in a few poppadoms on the house and made my Naan extra cheesy just for the inconvenience of the eftpos being down, which wasn't an issue at all!
