Malt n Steel bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Franklin

Bit pricey , myself and my two colleagues placed our orders. Shocked to see the waiter only came out with two plates (myself and one of my colleagues order). My other colleagues order didn't arrive. I asked the waiter excuse me where's my colleagues order. ????

The waiter replied "oops sorry I've just gotten over covid i caught covid my mind is foggy still etc.. and i forgot about your order she said to my colleague. I'll get your order sorted. I said to her excuse me sorry to say but you shouldn't tell people about your personal situations and you shouldn't be working and forgetting customer's orders. That's not good...

Had the main, fish of the day. At first the food looked yummy, a big plate, lots of fries and 2 filets. Unfortunately, the cooking wasn't done properly, the chips were almost under cooked, and bitter, and the battered fish can only be described as mushy mess. The batter was not cooked through making everything paste. Frozen fish I will guess, and the wrong frying temperature. Unless they change the chef, seriously Don't recommend.
