Brown Lightning Bros. Raglan Roast. — Restaurant in Hamilton

The old raglan roast - Great coffee. Very fast service, these guys churn out the coffees amazingly fast and is very reasonably priced. They have a loyalty book system where you can buy a card and get your coffees at a ridiculously cheap price. from the main road it doesn’t look like a coffee shop, it’s tucked in behind at the back.

This is one of the better shops in Hamilton for coffee. Heap of parking, happy staff, great black laborador and most importantly great coffee.

This place is busy, however the service is so fast it doesn’t matter when it is. A recommended spot (local) for those in Hamilton or for anyone going...

Really funky almost industrial style building a little off the beaten track, but the best places often are! Full of comfy old couches, plenty of reading material scattered around. They also had merchandise and coffee accessories for sale. Google maps bought us here as the closest coffee shop at the time, and glad it did. Great coffee and we left with several bags of brown lightening!

Didn't take any pics unfortunately but will definitely stop in to buy more beans next time we're traveling past!

Firstly, the positives... the coffee is great, the cookies lovely and nice chill atmosphere and chill music.

However, the service is lacking. Four staff, which is a lot considering no food and self-service. No smiles, greetings or even eye contact, lack of attention, e.g., serving people out of turn who are not in the queue, expecting customers to put their own lids on takeaway coffee (lids are on the counter). Come on.. this is a service industry... customers are your income. It doesn't take much to make customers feel welcomed.. even a polite hi...
