K Chicken Hamilton Dinsdale — Restaurant in Hamilton

Very very disappointed of the service. We were so excited to try it as we heard from friends it is the best Korean chicken in town. Did the online order at 4.30 pm Saturday evening and the pick up time was 5.15pm. We got there at 5 and got told they were making it according to the pick up time. Totally fine with that. While we wait, a lot of people came do pick up or dine in order. Even the ones ordered after we arrive have got their meals. I checked with the lady at 5.20 which was passed our pick up time, she didn't even check just answer me it's not ready. 5mins later she saw a bag in the corner of the table which was mine and it's been there at least 15 minutes, because I saw she packed that but didn't call any name or number. She did call for every other order though . It's wired and I got very upset being treated like this. She only said they were busy and sorry but sounded she didn't feel sorry at all. Food was nice and crispy, I would give it 4.5 stars, a bit salty for us, would be better to go with rice. But I wouldn't go there again for a while because of this experience. I just wanted to tell my experience. A filipino guy who served me who was at the till literally has an attitude nobody should just ignore. He’s a bully to his co-workers and very condescending. This is the second time he served me but literally stares as if he doesn’t want to serve people and just wanted the day to end and get it over with. The lady who’s at the counter serves people well and is very kind but him? You gotta have a meeting with his behaviour because he acts like the owner itself, well even owners don’t act this way and serve customers properly. If I didn’t need to worry abt my weight management, I would eat this every weekend! Quality is always consistent and staff are always friendly… The only thing let me down was I asked the hot spicy sauce on the side when I ordered combo once, cos the sauce is very hot( can’t imagine what volcano will be like) and I usually take a short break and then continue. The girl said to me they couldn’t do that and asked me to order original with extra spicy hot sauce on the side…I was like 😳😳😳…I didn’t make a big deal abt it and ended up ordering a combo with one seasoned nibbles and one hot spicy boneless chicken.
