Coffee at Crosses — Restaurant in Hawke's Bay

Staff were friendly and polite but boss stood beside me and berated them rudely. I asked quietly "please don't growl at your staff in front of customers". She said she didn't and asked staff if she had to which they just looked embarrassed. She then said "you don't know me" and went outside and loudly related what had happened to other customers and asked if them if she ever growled. I didn't hear the answer. Was looking forward to paying a visit for 3 years now, today we finally did. What a disappointing experience. Ordered two long blacks and two items out of the cabinet. Unfortunately have to be honest, I could've cooked a better breakfast on a Sunday morning with a hangover.
