Lunch with my hubby. Okay I'd really like to give this cafe 4 1/2 stars. We walked in on a wet, miserable day, noting some outdoor dining under a covered awning. The cafe was warm and inviting. Our reception was friendly. We ordered a scallop salad for lunch, with intentions of having half each. On bringing our meal out, (which was a generous meal) our waitress then went back and brought us two extra plates and extra cutlery. The meal was good, and to note I absolutely loved the salad. The lamb was incredibly tender, great quality and the gravy was a vibrant medley of aromatic spices, with a satisfying depth of flavor and a gentle, lingering warmth that built beautifully without overpowering the palate.

Trying to find something good to say! Our regular was closed on New Year’s Day so decided to try out this place, wished we hadn’t. We ordered takeaway and had to wait over an hour for 2 curries and naan and chips. Apparently something had happened but there was no information given and they said 5 minutes more and we ended up waiting another 20- wished need just asked for a refund. There was only a couple of other people in the whole hour. The food was bad when we got home, cold, basically tasted like everything had been cooked the second we arrived and then left to sit for an hour, very little flavour and we ordered medium and were given mild.
