TNC Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

It looks like this place has changed owners. To begin with, I've been coming here for the past 3 years and quite frequently as I love their 20 nibbles and chips deal. I've even got some of my other friends in on the fun. Every time we have game night we almost always order the 40 piece nibbles and chips along with the other meals, without fail. Yesterday is probably going to be the last time I will come here unfortunately. Again I ordered the 20 nibbles with chips. Price has gone up, which I completely understand, however I get 19 nibbles instead of 20. The chips were soggy and wasn't salted. The amount of chips was also reduced. Here's a tip, if you want to retain customers like me, it's fine to increase the price, but don't skimp on the quality and quantity. I will probably give this place one last chance and if nothing changes then that's it. I've already told my friends about my experience and looks like they will also give it a try one last time and see what happens.

EDIT: I will leave my original review from 2022 and now I have changed my rating because this place has really upped their game. Service is now great. Food is excellent. I don't know if they read my review and decided to become better, but good on them. I will...

Have wanted to judge this retailer for ages, never had the chance. Went there today mid pm before the town got stupidly busy. This place is the ONLY place to challenge KFC, and I'm a big KFC fan. Chicken is absolutely perfect and moist with a thick Non Greasy coating, slightly spiced. Portions were big, chips were good, as was volume. Slight issue with pots of Potato & Gravy as the two had not blended desoure the gravy being hot. Taste was excellent and you could forgive the stodgy spud. Service was slightly a little too urgent, lady was in you right from the door. Food prep and presentation was good. No tap sodas, everything refrigerated. Shop was spotless, board menu was considerably varied, with plenty of chicken based ideas. Burgers offered also. Did not survey the bathrooms. Very hard to fault this one only outlet on Don Buck Rd...

Food is tasty, store is clean and spacious. Not a fan of the gravy it tastes like the rich gravy you get in sachets from the supermarket. Such a shame because the chips are really good and a yummy gravy to dip them in would be awesome. The chicken burgers are nice but only had a tiny slice of tomato and a tiny slice of red onion in my chicken deluxe burger, I would've loved a decent portion of each it would've really made a huge difference and took this burger to the next level. The chicken is delicious! So is the coleslaw. The nibbles taste crunchy and fresh but lack in flavor in my opinion. Despite this I still love this store and will keep coming back. The owner seems lovely. Lots of parking and plenty of options for drinks.
