Nothing short of meeting all your biggest expectations from a pub nested between a petrol station and a fish n chips shop in a quiet neighborhood, it ticks all the boxes. Having recently moved to Red Beach I was initiated to this local institution by two mates. Waiting for our take aways beer in hand I am introduced to their lawn mower guy and other local celebs hitting the pokies. The tap runs at the hands of a salty sea dog with fading navy tattoo sleeves. I'm this house of Ale, The almighty cricket plays on the tele hanging from the ceiling, catching the eyes of patrons like the pulpit on the Sunday mornings of their distant youth, religiously sipping beer.
