Popped in on Saturday after hearing this new cafe had great coffee! Was excited to try somewhere new, and the location and views were great - but the positive aspects end there unfortunately. As I approached the till to order, the staff were not welcoming. I thought this may be because they were busy and proceeded to order. I asked about ingredients in some of the unlabelled food and the waitress didn't seem to fully know the contents. I settled for a lemon swirl croissant thing and an almond milk flat white. She asked me twice if I was eating in or having it to take away - presumably because she wasn't listening to what I was saying. I wanted to eat in and I paid and took a seat. I sat outside due to a lack of seats inside which I was OK with - my lemon croissant item came first followed by the coffee shortly after - in a take away cup! I didn't appreciate it - one of the reasons I wanted to eat in was to have a drink in a proper mug. The Coffee was OK- could have been hotter - but the pastry was the worst part. It was quite hard - arguably a bit stale - and definitely couldn't have been eaten with the cake fork they provided. It was difficult to eat, the flavour was good but it was hard. Overall, a disappointing visit and not somewhere I'd go back to. I understand Noire is new - I recommend the staff need training, the food all needs labelling and the pastries need...
Read moreIs a quint french themed cafe with beautiful soft themed music and decor. Although once the blender gets going, I suggest halting your conversation until it's done.
The service was good, we missed having water but everything else was thought of. We even got asked how our meal is at the exact right time, not to early that you have nothing to say and not too late that your meal is almost gone 👌
We had a Matcha strawberry frappe so refreshing and not at all bitter.
Chicken waffle benedict 😋 Its so good. Everything is cooked beautifully. The combination is so interesting textures and flavours are so well balanced. If you want a filling breakfast or brunch, this is it.
Coffee was not bad nor good. It didn't have that sigh factor that always telks me I'm drinking a good coffee.
Eggs benedict was cooked well but unfortunately not filling enough for a busy day ahead.
Yellow pressed juice tastes so good and healthy. Orange based with Pineapple and a lovely hint of ginger.
Truffle cheese grilled sandwich is delicious and so filling. Thick bread slices and lots of cheese.
Overall, we enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and the...
Read moreOrdered 2 drinks, 2 meals. First drink was a strawberry cheesecake frappe which came out as a coffee frappe. First meal came out, waitress came back and explained second was underway but was delayed, we shared 1/4 one meal only to find hair on the eggs, it was taken back then second meal delivered. Finished second meal before first meal was returned. Returned with no cutlery so had to go back to counter and ask for cutlery. Someone, no idea who as didn’t introduce themselves, but assume chef as hair matched, came out and asked if meal was ok. Replied yes and smiled - he then asked twice why we were laughing at them and left in an abrupt manner! We were confused and a bit weirded out. No other servers came outside again so we ended up getting a takeaway container and leaving as...
