03/12/24. This review reflects our visit on 02/12/24. We went here for lunch for my wife's birthday and a reward for my daughter. The food was excellent, the staff excellent, the atmosphere fine, and the end of lunch surprise for my wife and daughter was a delight. Katie is a delight and fantastic with kids - our 9 year old daughter loves her. Unfortunately because we live near Sunnynook it is a bit of a trip to come here, but always super worth it. This is the BEST cafe we have been to. You always leave feeling sad you have to but blessed that you were able to come here. We will be back. -----------------ā----------------------------------------------------------- 22/01/24 This review has been updated to include our experience of 13/01/24. On Saturday 13/01/24 my family of three had lunch at this cafe. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the food, coffee, atmosphere, and service. The food is great, delicious and with good size portions. The coffee is fantastic! The atmosphere is comfortable and quite spacious. The service is bright, bubbly, and super friendly. Katie is wonderful and our daughter just loves her. Katie always takes the time to have a lovely chat. When asked by our daughter for coloring paper she printed some more off immediately. We wish we lived closer, as we cannot come here as much as we would like. You are guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face and feeling special. :-) ................................................................. My wife, 8 year old daughter, and I ate here for the 4th time today (10/07/23.) It was very good as usual - the coffee, the food, and the service. We travel from near Sunnynook to come here and are yet to encounter anything remotely negative. They are more than happy to amend orders if you have special requirements, serve with a smile on their faces, and are genuinely happy to see you. Food and coffee are very good. Just a shame we don't live closer. Their illuminated sign "So Glad You Are Here" is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMillies is the place to be whether to eat and greet with friends, or a stop-off for coffee and email catch-up.
This little cafĆ© is busy, busy, busy and that speaks volumes about the service, food and atmosphere. The prices are on the high end but thatās a reflection of the times, the food and fair pay. A list of options that cater to all with choices of cabinet and menu food. Consistently good coffee, great service, along with reliable, well-presented meals. The team work hard to personalise your experience and happily adjusts meals to meet dietary requirements and preferences.
Iām there regularly and, with one exception, Millies is unfailing the best on the Coast. The one unfortunate occasion was disappointing (otherwise Food would get 5 stars). However, the staff were quick to rectify the situation, reinstating Millies good standing.
I've noticed a few negative reviews, and KK and the team are very approachable and work hard to make Millies a positive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTuesday 11June, two friends and I came in for lunch. Ordered our lunch noticed table hadn't been wiped down and was sticky. Asked if it could be wiped. Waitress came over flicked crumbs off, sprayed cloth and wiped table. Still sticky. Friends lunch came, they started eating I was waiting. I had ordered chicken filo, and tea and asked that the tea would come with my meal. After a good 5 to 10 mins I went up, they said yes your tea is on hold? I said I'd ordered chicken filo. One girl came over said I hadn't paid for it. I said that was the first thing I said and to have tea with meal. I was told it was a misunderstanding? I felt three of them really didn't care. They weren't busy .no apology. I have enjoyed coming there, but don't intend coming again. I was very...
