Go to Jessica's Kitchen and you'll get the exact same milkshake for half the price if you're really in such disbelief. At least you admit you lazily use store bought whipped cream, although defensively.

Cute place and super lovely staff, but no iced drinks so I bought a $7 milkshake expecting a glass, maybe whipped cream. Instead got a $2-3 takeaways milkshake, same cheap syrup, same paper cup & plastic lid. Tasted artificial so I binned it. Food was extremely average for the price & the whipped cream on my meal was from a pre-whip can and dissolved immediately once it hit the food. My family and I stopped here for lunch as it had some good reviews and seemed to be one of the better cafes in Dannevirke. I'm sad to say that we had a pretty awful experience. My parents had a cheese scone each which they could barely finish, my bacon and egg quiche seemed to take an extra 5+ minutes to arrive (despite my partner and daughter having hot food prepared and arriving just after the scones). And then to end I had an Afghan which I was really looking forward to as I haven't had one since being out of the country for many years and I took one bite into it and had to pull a long dark hair out of my teeth. The food was nice, but they ruined the experience of the steak and veg panini by squeezing some sort of burger sauce all over the plate before they put the paninis on it. So when you try and pick it up you get burger sauce all over your hands. First world problems I know but not everyone wants to use knives and forks on what he’s essentially a sandwich.
