HELL Pizza Masterton — Restaurant in Masterton

Phoned large delivery order in for a group of people at 9.22pm was told 40min wait which was ok. Pizza never turned up, went for a drive to see why as they wouldn't answer the phone and it was closed. Had to find food elsewhere at 11pm at night. Phoned owner next day as a courtesy and he tried to tell me it was our fault. Shocking service have advised our group what happened and they can't believe an owner would be so rude when I was only phoning so he could avoid it happening again. Won't go back and will ensure people know. Not a nice place at all. Shocked.

Called 3 times no answer so drove there to order/pick up and saw they were avoiding all phone calls, they weren’t that busy just slow pace! Got home and saw they got my order wrong! I called to let them know and the guy I spoke to made out it was my fault for giving them the wrong order when I was clear what I wanted, he clearly wasn’t paying attention when taking down my order as he was talking to the staff at the same time as taking my order. Absolutely rude and arrogant staff, the quality of the service/food there since it open has gone downhill, even more annoying finding hair in the pizza! Disgusting, this place is a let down to the hells...

I only ever write a poor review if I have had multiple bad experiences, which is the case for me with Hells Masterton, once in store and another time over the phone. Both times I found the staff, and especially the lady in her late 30s, dishonest and rude in her spirit of being cantankerous. It felt like a mission just to get what I wanted to order because they were difficult to the point of being obstructive. I won’t return to this franchise again, and I will be letting my friends on social media know about my experience.
