The first time I went I tried the prawn burger, it's extremely good, the patty has big chunks of prawn and isn't oily at all. The toasted, soft buns and fresh salad and the sauces are all top notch.

Today I tried the chicken burger and it might even be better. The chicken was thick and very crispy and not oily in the slightest. It's got a spicy mayo sauce and the staff gave me a seperate container with Korean sweet chilli which made it even better.

Finally the prices. They are incredible. 14 bucks for beef, 16 for chicken and 17 for the prawn. They have a bulgogi burger and a tempura verge burger that look yum too. Honestly the best bang for buck for gourmet burgers in all of Auckland. They are also, genuinely one of the best burgers in Auckland for the price of a almighty chicken burger at McDonald's.

Cannot recommend these guys enough, the two co owners are lovely people, who really care about the food they produce.

I had walked past Burgout a few days ago and just by chance my partner mentioned Burgout as an option for lunch, so it was de idea, Burgout it is! Greeted with big smiles from the Burgout team and given a brief rundown on the options.
