Nahm | Nelson — Restaurant in Nelson

Came for an occasion, one of us gluten free, and were definitely not disappointed. We had a full three course meal: between us we split the Coconut Satay Chicken for entree; had the Pad Thai and the Green Curry for main; and the Brownie with Milo Sauce and a special order (I'll get to that later) for dessert.

To begin with we were greeted by the wait staff and offered drinks. We weren't sure what to get and so we were offered a taster of a wine we were eyeing up to decide if we wanted a glass, which we did. We had the entree with our drinks, and the chicken skewers were tender and flavourful with just enough there to give you a taste of what's to come, but not so much as to ruin your appetite. The dressing that accompanied the skewers was excellent as well.

We then had our main courses, which included a flavour-packed green curry with fresh vegetables, and what is most likely the best Pad Thai either of us have ever eaten. Truly outstanding.

For dessert, I myself had the Brownie with the Milo sauce. The Brownie is carried out in a very hot cast iron pan, and then the Milo sauce is poured in for a spectacular sizzle and show! The Brownie was moist and delicious, and the addition of a nice tart plain yogurt and freeze-dried raspberries was great. My partner, who is gluten free, wanted a dessert as well, and only one item on the dessert menu was indeed labelled gluten free (note though that lots of the dinner menu was). We discussed with our waitress whether we would be able to simply have a grilled banana and ice-cream, and the kitchen gladly agreed. What arrived surpassed our expectations - the banana had been coated in sugar and flambeed for a crunchy top, and was displayed elegantly on top of ice cream and cream with fresh roasted peanuts and freeze-dried raspberries.

As far as I can remember, this was the best food I've ever had.

Our waitress, Lily, was exceptional the whole time - very friendly, cheerful and chatty, and more than happy to help out with both the wine and the dessert queries. We were very impressed at her service!...

When it comes to eating Thai, this restaurant is definitely more of an experience! The food is really nice and served beautifully.

Fresh flavours and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is also very nice with a prime location beautiful during the day for lunch.

However, because of its popularity you will need to book in advance or it is recommended.

Every time I’ve been there, it’s been very good !

Wenn es um thailändisches Essen geht, ist dieses Restaurant definitiv mehr als nur ein Essen – es ist ein Erlebnis! Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und wird wunderschön serviert.

Frische Aromen und frische Zutaten. Die Atmosphäre ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm, mit einer erstklassigen Lage – besonders schön für ein Mittagessen am Tag.

Aufgrund seiner Beliebtheit sollte man jedoch im Voraus reservieren, oder es wird zumindest empfohlen.

Jedes Mal, wenn ich dort war, war es großartig!

หากพูดถึงอาหารไทย ร้านนี้ไม่ใช่แค่การรับประทานอาหาร แต่เป็นประสบการณ์! อาหารอร่อยมากและจัดจานอย่างสวยงาม

รสชาติสดใหม่และวัตถุดิบสดใหม่ บรรยากาศก็ดีมาก ตั้งอยู่ในทำเลที่ดี เหมาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับมื้อกลางวันในช่วงกลางวัน

อย่างไรก็ตาม เนื่องจากร้านเป็นที่นิยมมาก ควรจองล่วงหน้าหรือแนะนำให้ทำการจอง

What a shame. Precut, Chinese frozen veg. Soggy not crispy chicken, odd smell and flavor to the duck wraps.

This was the best flavor, quality for value restaurant.

Something dodgy is going on there now, no one wanted to say who the manager is, no one would take responsibility. Rubbish left in the downstairs foyer, rubbish in the doorway upstairs from the yacht club you almost had to step over to get in Nahm.

Normally when a venue cuts its quality its for two reasons, lact of trade therefore lack of turnover or greed.

Trade was good so I'm picking the owners are extreme cctv owners that only complain and never support, greed lowers purchase quality, looses professional chefs, relies on young cheap staff or in this case very inexperienced Thailand staff.

Oh and their cocktails are only a liquor with juice. Only one alcohol, not actual cocktails but still priced as a full...
