Service - everyone was patient, friendly and called me either love or sweetheart, very cool. Fixed my complex from my abusive mother I think so that's p swag. Atmosphere - so so cute, love the layout, cafe goers we're lovely, art all over the walls. I was lucky enough to watch a fly fail to steal food as it was poisoned and then brokedance for me while I enjoyed my coffee. I am certain if his immaculate moves bothered me the staff would've escorted him out but he was kinda hot so I let him be 😌 Food - coffee was great and they gave me a little caramel with it. I had a little apple pie slice for under 5 bucks. Was pretty great for the price but just a little bland. The muffins looked amazing, probably just picked the wrong thing that day lol. Awesome menu, lovely smells coming from the wera kai cabinet and kitchen. I had the Hash Stack, kāwhe and smoothie.
I loved the kai but was disappointed the hash part of the stack was not homemade. However, it was still made with care and aroha.
It was such a lovely place, lovely singing, laughter, smells, and sounds of cooking coming from the kitchen, and hum of intense conversations in the dining area.
