Diya's Delight is an absolute gem in Wainuiomata! I had the pleasure of dining there last week, and it was an unforgettable experience. Ganga, the owner, recommended four incredible meals, and I was blown away by the flavors.
What makes this restaurant even more special is its clean and tidy environment, which makes dining there a pleasure. Convenient parking adds to the overall convenience.
However, what truly sets Diya's Delight apart is Ganga's exceptional hospitality skills. I felt incredibly welcomed during both of my visits. It's rare to find such a warm and inviting atmosphere in a restaurant.
I'm pleasantly surprised to find such an excellent Indian restaurant in our area. Today, I placed another takeout order and asked Ganga to recommend a few more dishes. Once again, I was not disappointed. Every dish I've tried here has been delicious.
I wholeheartedly recommend Diya's Delight to anyone craving authentic and mouthwatering Indian cuisine. With such exceptional food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service, I'm certain I'll become a regular customer. Thank you, Ganga, for bringing this culinary delight to...

We dined on entree dishes the whole night, indulging in the delicious lamb chops with a yoghurt, mint sauce, the divine tandoori platter, light, fluffy cheese and garlic naan and some kachumba. With some salty-sweet water and a mango lassi, that first round went down a treat.
Where we could've ordered a main, we decided on entrees again, ordering the lamb chops and yoghurt mint sauce for a second time, the Corn Tikki, some marinated pickles, and an entree serving of the Kathi Murch Murgh Tikka which was just stunning. A second mango lassi was ordered and it topped everything off beautifully.
The service was OUTSTANDING. The hosts really appreciate you being there and are so friendly. The Chef's bring India to you on a plates and it's just delicious.
For the 1.5hr we were there, over a dozen people came and went picking up their takeaway orders. You can tell it's local favourite and for us, the best indian food we've ever had in Wellington.
Thank you so much - we...

Edit response - I ate here 4-3 weeks ago Iād ordered dinner, was served by a female staff, I am posting genuine review on my part I wasnāt pleased with my meal considering what Iād paid for, I had tried another local curry place very recently and I did not have this problem where my chicken korma meal tasted like sugar and spice little to no cream (possibly too much spice which over powered the creamy taste itās supposed to have) I did wait half an hour for my single person meal and at the time there was nobody else in your shop, Iām sorry you feel that way but yes the other place Iād ordered from I did not have this problem Iād ordered 2 main dishes and 4 different narn breads it was ready with in 15 minutes so I come and write genuine review about...
