Iāve never been the type to make this kind of post on any social media platform especially one that involves this many people. But sadly I feel the need to raise awareness towards the shocking customer service I received at Dominoās Whitby on 26/06/2022 at around 9:50PM . I called to question whether my order came through as I was having difficulty with the website and my transaction and my mobile banking app had sent me a notification that TWO transactions had gone through. I also just wanted to confirm that the chicken bites I ordered for my partner was also correct and then I was told I needed proof of my order which I was more than happy to do.
I went in with kind intentions and presented the man with the proof of purchase but he still refused to release my food to me claiming that the ābusiness would lose out on moneyā because my order had come through twice with different variations within both orders but the SAME EXACT UNIQUE PIZZA ORDER. AS IF I WASNāT the one being charged over DOUBLE. It was getting late and after back and forth bickering trying to convince this man that I will happily just take what I originally came for he then aggressively shoves my order on the counter along with the sides and then continued being a rude 4 letter word that starts with C. Not only did he approach this the wrong way with his earphones in, no uniform on and with a smug & disgusting attitude but there seemed to be no sign of remorse OR customer service. I will NEVER come back to this branch, will never recommend them and will also be taking this up further aswell as posting about my incident on the local community page so that no one has to go through the ordeal I had to endure.
If there was the option to rate this establishment with zero stars I would. As the time before this my partner and I were left standing in the waiting area having to physically shout out for assistance while THE SAME TWO CO WORKERS from the 26/06/2022 incident came frantically running out from the back of the store. We waited over 25 minutes in the parking lot with no sign of our food despite checking in as instructed on their website and turning our hazard lights on to alert them. When we tried to phone the store, it took four times for them to answer and the girl on the phone was not very helpful either. She kept asking what our license plate number was and car colour even though we filled out these details when ordering. Turns out our food was ready the entire time and was sat there going cold... She then asked if we wanted her to bring it to the car or if we'd like to come in, which seemed like it should have been obvious since it's the option we chose online! Normally I'd be fine with walking inside, however (without siounding entitled), i expect that if you select a certain service you should receive it. On top of this, our cheesy garlic scrolls had no garlic whatsoever and tasted like plain dough. The pizza itself was decent considering it was stone cold by the time we received it. Overall I was upset with my service and I understand that they were busy, but this should not be an excuse for providing a disappointing experience...

Dominoes is a joke no matter where theyāre locatedā¦have refused to buy dominoes since they charged over $60 for delivery of 2 pizzas..one supposedly a premium ( couldnāt tell the 2 apart) that had extra charges on top of charges!! Had a bad experience but the Manager on that day was appreciative of my feedback, when I drove up to them to collect my pizzas (2 hours after ordering and paying) that were supposed to be delivered to a location 5 mins away from the shop. I really hope they look into providing support for the team, if they want customers to come back! We haven't had great experience with dominoes either. We've started to go to Pizza Hutt. I just don't think Porirua takeaways are great. KFC always...
