The well maintained and fairly recently rebuilt Macca's left a lasting impression on us.

The kids' play area was truly excellent, featuring well-thought-out seating. Our experience was nothing short of fantastic. Our little one joyfully explored the climbing frame and slide, quickly forging a friendship with another child. The play area's layout, though limiting adult seating to 6 or 7, was compensated by abundant seating nearby—ideal for parents overseeing larger, more independent children.

Our late lunch experience was great, seamlessly blending with playtime and socializing. Our little one reveled in the adventure, navigating the climbing frame and sliding down repeatedly. Only interrupted by a required toilet break to the well looked after and clean toilet facilities. The communal atmosphere fostered a sense of connection, as our child and their newfound friend shared play, laughter and tomato sauce packets.

While the children's play area had limited adult seating, it catered perfectly to those with more self-sufficient, larger children. The thoughtful design of the entire space allowed for close supervision without sacrificing comfort. Had the worst experiencing cold food on your night shift workers has happened more than once as im a regular on a monday night but will no longer proceed with your services as your employees have been handling food products and sending then out with cold stale chips to make their jobs easier iv had a few stomach aches due to the burgers also being cold and maybe not cooked properly also comes packed cold aswell, not to mention some families tend to not be able to afford enough food for our children and to see them just wanting to enjoy a meal due to hunger and your services being the only place open at those times we need to buy food because we have no food but cant have a decent meal due to laziness thank you i hope things can change but for now i refuse to come through the drive-thru as your employees are untrustworthy with cooking my food as of the rest who feel that way. We used the drive through at Silversteam McDs on Tuesday night on the way home from Upper Hutt. As a fast feed for the family McDs use to be our go to, however as I am now a Celiac there is little that I can eat here. Except for their Garden Fresh Salad, with the addition of 2 x grilled chicken fillets. After taking our order, and money and telling is they were all out of Garden Salads, we were asked to wait at the third window. After waiting there over 10-15 minutes our food was handed over, and we drove away. On opening the box with the Chicken fillets I was shocked to discover that ever last bit of moisture has been grilled out of them. The were solid and the consistency of leather. It appeared that the McDs crew had used the whole of that 10-15 minutes to severely overcook...
