McDonald's Te Puke — Restaurant in North Island

Food was as you expect from McDonald’s and very fast so in that sense it was great. The thing that got me was what seemed to be the manager (dressed all in black) this evening. He was like Gordon Ramsey from Hell’s Kitchen when he’s a bit calmer. No swearing but I’m sure he said “Screw you” to one of the employees… could of been in a joking manner but still kids come in to the restraunt so not really appropriate.

It wasn’t that busy so I’d hate to see what it’s like when it is. Maybe he’s been brought in to drive some improvements and maybe I don’t have the full picture but you can do so while being respectful to other staff. Wouldn’t be surprised if many staff just quit or aren’t motivated if it always like that. Just made the atmosphere really uneasy and I’m now writing this because I felt bad for the other staff.

That way of leading a team might have some short term success but long term I think he must be horrible...

The sauces they used are not taste, it's like been out of 24hrs to use. Manager told off her staff in front of the customer only because she/he mistaken the order. I believed everyone makes mistakes and she's (manager) not suppose to do that. As a manager they have to be a leaders who guide the staff not to shout n told them off. It's bit of annoying not only to us customers but i can see the staffs face rolling because of her. I know the employees are tired of serving and making burgers and they don't have to be treated like that. That manager is an old woman which I forgot her name. I'm a regular customer and I don't feel like going there anymore coz I don't like to stand and see how badly she treated others. I believe the owners and management team do something about it. All we want is a friendly service and friendly place to chill n dine in and eat fresh burger but not to here her annoying voice all...

If I pay the price then I am expecting to get good service. I understand that it’s a fast food restaurant and usually gets busy everytime and its not even easy to work here so I can wait longer to get my order. But at least you guys serve good good. I went to buy big mac combo at around 10:30pm and I ordered a coke with no ice on it. Everything was alright until they gave me coke with fkng water. Neither they give tissues papers nor good service.
