Pantry Cafe — Restaurant in North Island

Just your run of the mill workers lunch bar with seating...that's until you try one of their pies!! I thought "what the hell" and feeling adventurous (and hungry) grabbed the steak and OYSTER. I shouldn't be saying this because they will now run out of them once people read this but, DELICIOUS! Real neat, not the "jelly meat" syrup you get with much more fancier outlets....

We arrived just on closing time, but despite this we were welcomed and served with a smile. Even though it was the end of the day, the bit of food that remained was of impressive quality and variety - something for everyone. Not nice at all. We ordered the big breakfast. Toast is just bread put on the hotplate. Eggs come fried - seems there's no choice. We ordered extra mushrooms and bacon but servings were so small we were glad we didn't get just the normal serving amount. Took a long time to come out as well. Not happy - won't...
