Pretty mediocre meat. This is by no means properly smoked. We took a plate with all different meats. Brisket was the worst: hard and practically unchewable for smoked brisket that is common to melt in the mouth. Chicken was average, not sure if it was smoked at all. Lamb was okay and pork was okay. Pork ribs were mediocre.
By all means avoid it as a source of smoked meat.
But: the place is super cute. The eatery is down below, the bar is upstairs, as far as I understand these are different places that are friendly to each other. Both are cozy nice and the place you want to spend time in. Service was all good and people were nice and friendly without question. The problem is just the food (but that’s why you are going to...

Came with 'slaw and pickles' the slaw seemed to just be shredded iceburg lettuce, and the pickles was a spoonful of sauerkraut and 3 slices of pickle. $8 worth of hot chips was a pretty small portion (half as much as a $3 scoop at a fish & chip joint) and sadly undercooked. Sauce was great though. Toasted sandwich was on basic sandwich bread, again undercooked, and probably not worth $12 (comparing to similar offerings from the likes of Salt and Wood).

Sorry we didn't get her name! We ordered the half rack of ribs and the special of the day which was the pulled lamb tacos. This was accompanied by a side of chips and the corn and jalepeno fritters; which we must reccomend, they were so soft and fluffy with a nice kick! There was a lemon cheesecake special and that was also rich and flavourful. You can tell that the food here is made with love. Thanks...
