Burger Wisconsin — Restaurant in Wellington

We were excited to take the grand kids to Burger Wisconsin. The people were friendly, the eating area was clean and welcoming. We ordered two Junior Cheese Burger meals, Kumara Fries, a Wisconsin Burger, and a Minted Lamb sandwich. The Junior Cheese Burgers were great and a very good value with fries and juice. The Wisconsin Burger was very flavorful and the Kumara fries were tasty. The minted lamb sandwich was disappointing. The lamb was chewy and had some grisly fat. They say here that the burger was invented in Wisconsin, USA. Living across the river from Wisconsin, this is news to me. Either way, we had to try an American burger in NZ, so this seemed the place to do it. It was nothing to write home about. The patty was very thin and was lost in the huge amount of toppings. The beef in NZ has a different flavor than at home, but the burgers here would have been more well suited with a larger patty. Great burgers at this place, really fast service so everything was hot even though we ordered online for pickup, and the man on the till was friendly and welcoming.

We got the Great American, Full Monty (gluten free), and a California and Kiwiburger, and we all agreed they were great, especially the meat patties which were cooked well and flavourful. Honestly this was better than burgerfuel, which is saying something!

10/10, would definitely return here. The only issue was parking, but you can't do much about the cinema...
