The Bakehouse Cafe Roast and Grill Rotorua — Restaurant in North Island

Travelling from Matamata back to Kawerau, we wanted to stop in Rotorua for breakfast so googled Bakeries (usually have good size meals value for money) After looking at pictures of many that came up we decided on this one and dayyyyyyyyyum worth every penny. Kinda hidden away, I mean you gotta know of it. Swift and exellent service, friendly and very hospitable. Ordered a meal which didn't take long at all. Super delicious and exactly how I asked of it (medium rare) Kids bought them pastries and savouries from under the hot grill, displaying an array of delicious savory morsels. Very very popular, I mean I watched so many people walk in and out over n over. Exellent food, super clean and hygienic...

Entry/Exit was good and clear sight in and out of Bakehouse off a main highway. Toilet utility good. There was a vast variety of hot and cold food, from pies, cakes, sammies to full meals. We ordered different platters of full meals, as pictured and the quantity was good. However the wait was over 20mins and we had to check on where the food was. We were the only people waiting on cooked food, so unsure why it took a while to come, as other people were grabbing pies or stuff...

Pies are great, but please do not buy sausage roll i feel disrespected how wierd it was tasted i couldn't eat it and i love every food. I tried it again for second time same roll and it's pretty nice tbh nice and sweet ig my taste buds adjusted. Was hoping it wasn't cat but now i know for sure just a nice roll Big up...
