Yum Yum Sushi — Restaurant in North Island

Delectable, delicious, mouthwatering, made in house. Choose your own or get one made up for you, if your on a budget, you can definitely afford this place, so many choices, cold sushi, warm sushi. soy sauce, wasabi, ginger, those 3 you can choose your own when you pay, they have the option of a fork or spoon or chopsticks. Free plastic container or a box for a few cents. Take a pair of tongs to pick out your sushi, at the end put them in the used tongs container. Yes you can buy a drink from the fridge If you choose too. The soy sauce is in those little fish bottles. I love this place so so much, I'm coming back without a doubt next time I feel like sushi and it is healthy and filling. One of the best sushi places I've ever been. 10/10...

This was our hidden sushi gem when it first opened. They offer a delicious selection of sushi that in terms of flavour and presentation were bettering some of the longer established sushi eatery's. And the price has always been reasonable.

There has been a recent change of ownership and since then the offerings haven't been up to the same standard. Hard rice, less options etc. But we are hoping these are just teething problems and will be returning in a wee while to see if they're back...

The sushi at this restaurant is gorgeous and very tasty! There are many sushi restaurants in New Zealand, but this one is very solid! The owner was also very friendly!
