KEBAB & PIZZA FACTORY — Restaurant in Northland

Food displayed in the food cabinet looked tasty. We got a lamb kebab. After telling my daughter it was healthy, was shocked to find out that my daughters friend pointed out the lamb was not in fact lamb and was rather some sort of mysterious mystery meat. Shocked at what I had just eaten I asked the staff for a refund. He said no and insisted "all kebab shops in NZ sell this kind of imitation meat" I told him that this shouldn't be allowed in NZ as on the menu it was displayed as 'fresh meat' not in fact...

What happened? Usual trips to Marsden involved a couple of "supreme" pizzas. Not anymore! Picked them up and away down the beach and after a couple of slices looked at each other, "wheres the flavor"? A close examination found only the bare minimum of salami, that's why they were bland as simply eating mozzarella cheese! EXPENSIVE and now cutting costs by skimping on the content? Nice pizzas in the past but now? Maybe times are tough so lets not put so much in and hide the fact under...

Great food, had a chicken and falafel kebab, it was badass. Highly recommended. Great atmosphere, like, they were playing that Susan Boyle audition from X Factor or whatever that show was, and all of it together, yunno, chicken, falafel, satay sauce and Susan owning those asshats who judged her for her looks... made for a hella night....
