This is the ONLY takeaway in the Waipu township! They are closed on Mondays, and open at 11 o'clock every day to 7 pm. The cook has no pride in his cooking, as it shows in the food! No seasoning in the Chinese foods OR the roast meals. A little salt goes a long way, but no salt equals no flavour! We bought some chicken pieces one day, drove 6 kms home, just to find some dry, crusty chicken! I swear it was yesterday's.....inedible, had a wood like texture, disgusting! Bad communication, and they always seem to botz up your order because of this! No hello, goodbye, thank you or even a friendly smile! They are the only takeaway in town, so need to use some common courtesy & manners when dealing with your paying...

The good news first - I had the best Hawaiian Burger I've ever had from a fish n chip shop, was absolutely delicious. And these guys make pineapple fritters like no one else... but when I got back to camp with the food and saw how many chips I got for $9 I was pretty gutted, as were my 4 very hungry teenagers.
