Haven’t been to a Ruakaka for several years and really pleased to find there is still a cafe there as several people have tried and failed over the years. The Bach Cafe has a really great menu with a different take on some regular morning meals like Sausage and Hash which was great. The Bach all day breakfast was a little underwhelming with a small slice of tomato and not much bacon. The Mango smoothie was delicious and the coffee great. Service was average from some of the staff, though could see the manager had eyes everywhere and very attentive and ensuring plates cleared and doors kept closed as it was a colder day. Can imagine there is a great vibe in the summer and will come back next time we are in the area.

Over the course of my Holiday, I tried many different breakfasts, and each one was absolutely delicious (“the bach “ is my favourite). The fish and chips were outstanding, and I can't get enough of their fantastic milkshakes. The burgers were also top-notch, juicy, and flavorful. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure.

Stopped on the way to Auckland. Great cafe for cake (had a berry, white chocolate and custard muffin, sausage roll and quiche. Lovely food, great tea. Chap behind the counter sang along with UB40- nice! Unfortunately it was raining so we didn't see the beach. Definitely worth calling in to if you are on a journey and need a stop.

The Bach Cafe in Ruakaka offers a charming seaside atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. The café's interior is simple yet inviting, featuring wooden tables and colorful accents that create a cozy vibe. In addition to coffee, The Bach Cafe boasts a diverse menu with generous portions at reasonable prices. The café is also pet-friendly, making it an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy a meal with their furry companions. Overall, The Bach Cafe is worth a visit for its pleasant ambiance and friendly service, even if the coffee might not suit...

If you're looking for an amazing coffee and eating experience, The Bach Cafe is for you. It's the place the locals hang out at. Recommended to me by Helen at Fresh Choice. Met Patrick, one of the colorful locals, at the cafe. He introduced to Grant, the owner, and the staff. Did meet Tina who was all personality - another reason you'd want to visit. Great music along with the best beach vibe. I had the most artistic flat white i've had in New Zealand! One downside is you can only hear the surf from the cafe as it is a distance from a gorgeous...
