The Sushi Platter - Waiata Shores — Restaurant in Papakura

I had to rate 1 in order to leave a review. But in all honesty, I rate this place a minus 10 due to the fact that there was an ugly blue back fly flying around inside the glass where the sushi was displayed . As a paying customer, this is just unacceptable. (See Video ... Fly is fast but can be seen if you look carefully)

It is a scientific fact that Flies pose a risk to food contamination because of the bacteria they carry from the surfaces by touch, in their vomit from the crop, and in the excretion products from their alimentary canal. This potential contamination risk indicates the possibility of flies transmitting bacteria to humans through food, and if the server wasn't sitting on her cell phone, she would've seen it (well i would hope she would )

Friendly staff, decent variety of sushi and reasonably priced. Have to mention the huge artwork above their counter is what caught my eye to try the place 😊

We bought grab one voucher for one Donburi and one box of Sushi worth $18.90 They gave us only 6 sushi and said this is worth $18.90 even though the price was $2 per sushi. They did not provide enough quantity of donburi and also refused to provide miso soup even though their website says all donburi comes with miso soup. Very disappointed and will never go...
