We Were on Holiday with two other families. Went there for lunch. Couple of people from our group wanted to eat from the Gone burgers and we checked with them whether its possible to dine in with next door burgers. few of the very nice friendly staff welcomed us and treated us nicely and we ordered our meals. three others who bought burgers came there to join us. OMG this so so rude waitress stopped them saying they cant bring outside food. we tried to explain her that we checked with other staff before we ordered. she didn't want to listen. SHe was so unprofessional rude and very very unpleasant. It was surprised to know that she is the manager. Who the hell hired this woman as the manager when there are so many other very professional ladies already working there. The restaurant was empty at that time. if it was full then we can understand. But she was not ready to listen. we were trying to explain that the staff said its ok to bring burgers from their other shop so that all three families can eat together. She said its their rule. But then she should educate her staff about that first. Even after we ordered our food she came like a mad dog started barking on us. Unfortunately we had to cancel our orders and leave the restaurant. But I have to say other than this rudi , all the other staff were really nice and kind. She brings only negativity to this...
Read moreI went here last Friday and what happened to me was unacceptable. I walked in at 3:55 PM and politely asked if curly fries were still available. The female staff at the counter told me the kitchen was closed, so I said thank you and was ready to leave.
But she kept suggesting I should go next door to get some food. I replied that I had just been there (On the Spot), but she ignored me, grabbed both my shoulders, physically steered me toward the door, even patted my back, saying “you could get some chips there.”
Her behavior made me feel like I was being treated as a problem — like she was POLITELY trying to get rid of me. Which was completely unnecessary, because I was already leaving after she said the kitchen was closed. I couldn’t help but feel there was a racial undertone to the way I was treated. I’m Asian, and just before I asked about the fries, she had been happily chatting with a pair of Western-looking customers.
I felt so uncomfortable and disrespected. I still don’t understand why I was treated this way. Will...
Read moreOne star only because there is no option for no star! Today was the second day we sat on the lovely deck overlooking the beach with our well- behaved dog at our feet. While the burgers and the staff serving us were great it was all undone by the rude behaviour of the so-called “manager” named Shira. She was the fifth person to serve us and the first and only to make a huge song and dance about our dog being with us on the outside deck. She spoke loudly and rudely to us as if we were children as she was approaching our table with our very expensive burgers. She forced us to take our dog away saying there was a strict no dog policy across the entire “reserve”. We could see signage that no dogs are allowed on the beach, so we didn’t take him there. There is no sign at this restaurant about dogs not being allowed. Ultimately, this rude person spoilt our visit and dinner. She could have spoke to us in a polite and discrete manner. We were not deliberately breaking any rules. Poor service. Never going...
