Great spot for a yummy lunch! It was really busy the day we visited, so there was an hour wait on food but they told us this and we were happy to wait. We sat outside, and we had our dogs, and it was so nice and spacious out there , so nice on a beautiful blue sky day!

It was a bit confusing with the bar and then the smaller "bar" where to order - especially if you haven't been there before. To get out to the garden from the bar/restaurant, you had to walk through their covered outside area - those tables were all full, and almost everyone there was smoking under that cover. I appreciate that they were outside, but it wasn't the nicest thing to walk through every time you needed to go in and out to order or use the toilet.

In terms of food, I ordered the chicken burger, and it was AMAZING - I would highly recommend it. The sticky wings were plentiful and tasty, and the kids' meal was good too.

Overall, I would recommend going and enjoying their food. If you have dogs, the outside area is perfect to have them...

It's quite a very amazing well sophisticated Bar & Restaurant located in a coastal settlement called Kaiaua situated in the Firth of Thames, as it is a very unique and beautiful environment as it's also a neet place where my uncle and me go for Dinner and where my uncle goes for a pint of beer whenever we're staying down the coast at Miranda every summer for a Pre-Christmas holiday, and they are such friendly people and we so admire their hospitality and that they provide wonderful service And it's also a great place for mates to hangout and watch the races on TV when it comes to sports, and it's very charming and one of the best places I've ever been to with my uncle and I'd give that joint a...

Nice view from the pub window. Alright feed and atmosphere. I like the sign by the front door. Visited twice since the above review. 11th and 12th January 2025, ate a meal with the family on the decking and again out in the backyard beer garden. Both meals were great. The 11th was really busy, 45 minutes waiting on meals because of that, but presentation and quality were still good. The following day, it was not so busy that meals came out nice and fast and looked a bit better than the day before. Steak, egg n chips, pizzas, and fish tacos are all well cooked and presented well. It was a nice feed and a great place to...

After a long and exhausting cycle ride from Thames, all I felt like was a good sized, hearty pub lunch and a long cold drink. This place did not disappoint. The Bangers and Mash was a good sized meal for replacing burnt calories, and just enough protein to make the return cycle trip back to Thames. TBH, I was so hungry I would have enjoyed anything! The outdoor garden bar was large and inviting and plenty of room to park the bikes away from the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere as we phyched ourselves up for the return 50km cycle home.

Ive been back now and it was slack and now i don't recommend this place. Over priced and not very good options nothing vegetarian at all so we got the salad but we had to pay for the steak that we didn't get but they still wanted us to pay for it . I hear the locals are not happy with the service. What's happened since the last time we went here. Wow the food was wonderful A+ the best dumplings I've ever had and the fish yum then i had the sticky date pudding witch i never get but yum we will be back and excellent service we had a great lunch AAA+
