The only place around to get coffee and groceries, and I was surprised that their coffee, served in lovely eco friendly cups, tasted much better than I expected. Cat lovers, look out for Pinkie the sweet shop cat, which I was delighted to be informed by the lovely staff (upon my second visit) that she (the cat, not the staff member!) was soundly asleep in a lil box under the table. We had the Oliver’s Smoked Fish and Mussels Pies which were good too. The big table within has some local reading material, colouring sheets with crayons and even so thoughtfully, reading glasses for those who need them! There are even some tee shirts which I was tempted to get though didn’t manage to this time. Looking forward to pop by for good coffee and such anytime I am in Kaiaua again. Thank you for your service.

Great shop, lil bit of everything here. Coffee was good, $4.50 for medium, $6 for large.Certainly tastier than the drain water posing as coffee from the Kaiaua chippy down the road. Toasted sandwich for $5 for 3 fillings, yummo! Great to have easy parking, and lots of outdoor seating. Theres a playground, and various seats, and picnic tables, across the road. Even with the tide out, its worth it to go for a wander, or just relax on the grass. The view is always great.

What else can you say about a lovely eclectic shop that saves you by providing all you need in the wilderness. Well done and we met some lovely people two of whom owned this beautiful green classic (ours is the white Tesla).

The inside is very dated and dirty/ clutted looking.. Service at the till was decent.. Couldn't order everything that was advertised on the menu board and had to wait around 20-30mins for two bacon and egg rolls.. Unfortunately didn't get them after waiting that amount of time due to running out of buns, opted out for microwave heated up pies🤢🤦‍♀️.. It was around the New Year Holidays and unfortunately it's like this every year around this time.. The owner needs to be more organized for the holidays and at least clean up the shop to look like a...
