⚠️Not vegan friendly for coffee⚠️

I have come to Swanson Station Cafe for many many years and it wasn't always like this.

I have always ordered coffee in a large bowl, which is why I love this place and they are open very early.

However, unfortunately I cannot reccomend this place if you are a non-dairy coffee drinker.

I have come to the conclusion by tasting all the milk varieties they offer, that they still decide to use dairy milk when making your coffee. I have made sure my milk choice is clearly known, but at the first sip every time it is painfully obvious that dairy milk is used.

I have given them more than enough chances as a regular customer to do the right thing and serve me the milk I asked and paid for...and you cannot deny that every single milk you order tastes the exact same, no hint of difference between them...they all are dairy milk.

You have lost a customer who would have continued to come every day, if you had only served us what we asked for.

Future patrons, be warned.

Of course if you drink dairy milk, this is fine for you. But for those who ordered one thing, paid for it and didn't receive it multiple times...that is the issue here. Otherwise it's a really...

Long story short, we had a confusing interaction with an incredibly rude staff member. It was hard to know if he was racially profiling us or was just on drugs.

The individual approached us while we were waiting for our coffees and browsing the art on the walls. He said he was part owner and asked us if we wanted to do the dishes or wanted a job. He claimed the dishwasher didn't show up and he needed an urgent replacement. Didn't think much of this and tried to help by suggesting he ask someone else. He said : "no no they're customers.." (we were customers too but okay). Then the conversation took a really odd turn, he was barely choerent and kept changing the topic. At one point he pulled a small bottle of alchohol from the fridge, offered it to us, then started drinking it himself. After these odd conversations he claimed we were making the staff uncomfortable by staring at them while they were working (we were busy looking at art on the wall until he interrupted us). At this point we asked him to just get our coffees so we could leave. The coffee was definitely not worth it especially since I asked for Oat milk and it was...

I met my son here for a catchup lunch hes a builder so went with a healthy appetite september 2024 very very disappointed slways wanted to go there when we drove past ..salmon eggs benedict looked great .. first bite the sauce was cold eggs cold hollandaise sauce out of a bottle muffin barely toasted and very lean on the salmon…my son had the burger brioche asked for chips on the side no cant do he said the landlord says no deep frying as it smells so you get corn chips instead when the food arrived nearly half an hour later bun was bigger then the pattie hate that ..corn chips on the side well what can i say!! didn’t complain my son didn’t want to make a scene but myself I would have returned both meals coffee was average but they charge a price total $50 bucks if your going to run a cafe please make sure you have a proper chef obviously he cant cook and if you have bugers on the menu you have chips not corn chips .. quality is always better then quantity and this cafe...
